Hey TWE Nation,
The world is moving faster than it ever has before.
More information.
More opportunities.
More distractions.
More decisions.
Most people are talking about this being a “skill-based market,” but I think many are focused on the wrong skills. They are spending time getting better at things that may no longer be relevant.
One of the most important skills I’ve been working on lately is something I call Decision Velocity.
Decision Velocity is the ability to consume information, filter it through strategy, and make better decisions faster than the market around you.
Notice I didn’t say make decisions faster.
I said make BETTER decisions faster.
The challenge is that most people are suffering from decision fatigue. They are spending mental energy on hundreds of small decisions every day and then wondering why they struggle when a decision that actually matters shows up.
To increase decision velocity, I believe every entrepreneur and leader needs to ask four questions:
What can I automate?
What needs to happen faster?
What should be standardized?
Where must I slow down?
The future belongs to people who know the difference.
Move fast where silence is expensive.
Slow down where mistakes are expensive.
For me, I’ve been speeding up my learning, AI implementation, and how quickly I can coach and teach others.
At the same time, I’ve been slowing down to revisit my personal mission, develop my leadership, and nurture the relationships that matter most.
Fast at the edges.
Precise at the core.
Remember: Speed is not the hero.
Responsiveness is.
The entrepreneur of the future will not win because they know more. They will win because they learn, decide, and adapt faster.
So here’s my question for you:
Where do you need to automate, accelerate, standardize, and slow down?
Go live life on your terms,
